07.11.2007   +++   new site. new story.

if you are looking at this news item, it means you are looking at our new site! it was time for a bit of an overhaul, as we have simply grown out of the old “simple” site that preceeded this one. Now, I’m sure there are bugs or glitches. Actually, if you find any, it’s uhm.. because of your browser. yeah, that’s it. it’s not us, it’s you. I promise.

with this new site, we are also launching a bold new phase for the uprising. one in which growth is the primary objective.. growth of the company, growth of the client base, and the ever evolving artistic growth we strive for with each new project.

look, we’re all about doing great work for our clients, having fun while we’re doing it, and making things look pretty. pretty simple. our goal in the years to come is to do that on an ever increasing scale, to reach and touch as many people as we can with these here pixels and colors.

take a look around, check out what we’ve been up to, and bookmark us. we’re constantly adding new projects to the database, with photo and motion projects being next on the list. now it’s even easier to click around and explore.

most recent projects? well..

• The Section Quartet - TSQ Website (a co-op project with Billbonk Webdesign, currently in development), TSQ MySpace Page, Fuzzbox album packaging, and all kinds of other odds and ends for their upcoming release on Decca.

• Hooves - Remember that “special footwear project” we mentioned awhile back? Well, Jeff is working with Gravis Footwear to design, develop, and manage a new footwear brand with some suprises up it’s sleeve - dope hi-tops for the rock & metal markets.. Check out the simple Hooves Website we developed for more info on that.

• Mirrorball - Darren is still killing it over at Mirrorball doing art direction for their client base (which includes Pepsi, Heineken, Mountain Dew, Dos Equis, and others). but in more special news, is now a proud father of Forrest Butch Rufus Craig (who, being able to design immediately after popping out of the womb, is now on staff full time).

• Silva Artist Management - Jeff just finished an absolutely amazing and fulfilling 2-year tenure over at SAM, leaving to give more focus to the uprising. He is also developing Color Theory Consulting, a consultant service specializing in the development and logistics of music merchandise opportunities in the tour, retail, and special project licensing areas for bands, labels, etc.

• Various Others - not to discount any of these clients by not giving them their own section, we’d just be here for days. We’re still working with Chris Shiflet on Jackson United packaging and materials for their upcoming release.. RCEG & Slaymaker Hill for their upcoming release.. Strangler for their upcoming release.. tons of band merch.. and of course a bunch of other irons in the fire that we can’t discuss yet.

Thanks, as always, to everyone who’s supported us (and continues to support us) along the way. Without the love, respect, and dedication of everyone who’s been invoived (both directly and indirectly), we surely would not be where we are today. MUUUAH. ok. we love you. bye bye.
