So, we were invited down to the IMAX Theatre at Universal City Walk yesterday to watch a tastemaker / talent screening of The Dark Knight.. Let’s be honest, it’s a bit surreal to be sitting in an IMAX Theatre with David and Victoria Beckham (and their kids), Cut Chemist, Surge from System, the AFI boys, Mix Master Mike, and a slew of other bands and celbs instead of your random fat heshers and their loud kids.

Expectations were running really high, and although we were so close to the screen you could hardly watch some of the scenes without getting sick, the movie didn’t disappoint. Insanely dark and twisted, with great effects and new bat toys.. one of the best action hero movies to date in our opinion, and definitely the best batman movie yet.

Heath Ledger as The Joker is by far the best Joker EVER, and the standout character in the movie.. such a loss. There are countless scenes where you realize just how talented he was and how sad his recent death was - and just how much playing the insane Joker may have led to his real life final days.

Anyway.. was a good break from the daily grind.. our new intern is working on getting the archives up on the site, so that should be coming soon. Stay tuned.

Admat / Poster / Merchandise creation and development..

Sam’s new album, entitled “Don’t Do Anything,” is in stores this week! We did the package design for this one, as well as the primary art direction and branding for the entire campaign. We’ll post more images of the fold out insert and the digipack as soon as we get them from the label.

We did this a little while back for the Jimmy Eat World / Paramore Co-Headline tour. Full admat package with various size and color profile setups to use for nationwide print and web advertising. (Obviously the date shown here is just filler and was replaced by each local promoter with their actual show info)

The official site is up for Delta! This one was developed around making it easy for the label and Delta herself to quickly add information, links, videos, news, tour dates, and other content to the site. Just about every content page, along with the footer album mini and the banner ad on the bottom of the index page, are easily edited / added to through a custom backend section built around PHP, mySQL and Wordpress.

We hope Delta the best as she works to break into the US market!

Jeff popped by The Hundreds yesterday to drop off a few pairs of The Beast to the crew and Bobby ended up taking these shots. Always a fan of his product shots, these show some more of the little elements and collateral we developed for the shoe. Thanks for the photos, and the love!!
